CCB

During pregnancy?
Thiazide diuretic and/OR Vasodilating CCB -amlodipine
What is accelerated/malignant HT?
Roughly when S is 180 to 200
D is 110 to 130
When is rises rapidly
In an emergancy situation with target organ damage due to high BP - treatment?
Reduce MAP by 25% in 1st hour
Want to reach 160/100 by 6 hours
When the case is urgent but not emergency level since NO organ damage - treatment?
Intensification of treatment
If patient stopped taking drugs and caused this rise get them back on
