Life-threatening signs in severe hypertension

A

Requires referral for specialist assessment

  • Eyes= retinal haemorrhage/ papilloedema
  • Chest pain
  • New confusion
  • AKI
  • HF signs (peripheral oedema, chest pain, exercise intolerance)
