Q

Explain each of the processes within the water cycle (evaporation, condensation, precipitation, transpiration)

Hydrosphere

A
  1. Evaporation: Water on the Earth’s surface absorbs heat from the sun and transforms into water vapor, rising into the atmosphere.
  2. Condensation: Water vapor in the atmosphere cools and condenses around particles like dust, forming clouds.
  3. Precipitation: When clouds become heavy with condensed water droplets, gravity pulls them down to the Earth’s surface.
  4. Transpiration: Plants absorb water from the soil through their roots and release it into the air as water vapor through their leaves.
