FO - the CRJ hydraulic system is serviced with Skydrol, T/F Skydrol is easy identified by its purple color.
the can is purple but the fluid really isn’t as purple at the descriptions let on
CA - how many Hydraulic pumps does the CRJ have?
6, 2 mechanical and 4 electrical
FO - what is the normal pressure range for the hydraulic system?
1800-3200psi
CA - Below what pressure value does the HYD (_) LO PRESS caution message display?
1800 psi
FO - what is the normal quantity range for the hydraulic fluid reservoirs?
45-85%
CA - how is cooling of the hydraulic fluid accomplished?
ram air cooling fan assisted on deck and some fuel cooling
FO - in cruise, which hydraulic pumps are operating assuming all systems are operating normally?
1A, 2A and 3A
CA - on final approach, what hydraulic pumps are running assuming all systems are operating normally

FO - explain IDG logic
with flaps other than zero and HYD 1 or 2 switch in AUTO, the opposite ACMP will not run unless the IDG is powered.
so if there was an engine failure on approach, the remaining generator would not have to service 3 ACMPs
CA - does the ACMP 3B have to be switched to ON in order to operate if the ADG is deployed and supplying electrical system power?
No
FO - will ACMP 1 or 2 turn on when their respective engine driven pump fail?
no
CA - how do you close the HYD SOV in the crj 200 700.900
should down engine, deselect HYD SOV guarded switch light
FO - which hydraulic system operates the OUTBD BRAKES
