Hydraulic Subsystems for the TGM Flashcards
Hydraulic Actuators
Each gun has 2 hydraulic actuators, one for azimuth and one for elevation. The 105mm has 2 elevation actuators
Azimuth and Elevation Manifolds (H-Model)
Are used to control movement of the gun mounts.
Manual Drive Assembly (U-Model)
The interface to the AC hydraulic system. Allows for connecting the gydraulic actuators to the AC hydraulic system for the necessary movement of the guns.
Isolation Valves
Each gun on H & U models have isolation valves to manually control the flow of dyraulic fluid to each gun in case of a leak.
Manual Hand Pump Assembly (H-Model) Hand Crank (U-Model)
Enables the gun to be rotated in either direction manually. The assembly consists of 1 pump for elevation movements, one pump for azimuth movements, and a 3 way position selector valve (Off, Azimuth, Elevation)
