What does lipids act as in your body?
A store of energy which you use if your body runs out of carbohydrates.

Vegetables, fruits, and cereals.
What does fibre help in the body?
It helps food move through your digestive system.
How can an unblalanced diet lead to obesity?
If you take in more energy from your diet than you use up your body will store the extra energy as fat and you will become obese.
What health problems come from obesity?
Diabetes, heart disease, and some cancers.
What is a deficiency disease?
A disease the occurs when there is a lack of certain nutrients.
What are the effects of starvation?
Slow growth, irregular periods for girls and more likely to get infections.
What happens when people don’t get enough vitamins or minerals?
Someone may get a deficiency disease.
What can a lack of vitamin C cause?
Scurvy.
What does the amount of energy you need, depend on?
It depends on your body massa and your level of activity.
