  1. What is the agricultural revolution? What made it such a success?
A

The agricultural revolution was a necessity for the growing population so there was a demand for higher amounts of foods. Due to the high demand new machinery was invented to make farming new efficient. There were 3 things to make farming more efficient,

  • Crop rotation - Enclosed land
  • Seed drill

A

children worked in textile factories, coal mines, gas works, construction sites, shipyards and chimney sweeping. They were good workers as they were cheap, expendable and able to fit in small areas

Myall Creek Massacre

A

Myall Creek Massacre happened in June 10th 1838 where 11 white settlers had taken 28 aboriginals and slaughtered them all. It was significant as it had been one of the few major massacres in all of Australia, it is also significant as the white settlers were punished.

Is an important event as it had unified Australia joining the 6 settlements on January 1st 1901.

A

The arrival of the first fleet was a detrimental event for Australia on 1788 26th January. Australia was colonised due to the imperialism shown by England. It has been the foundations of this modernised Australia as we now it.

The Gold Rush was a detrimental moment in Australia’s history as it had boosted the economy along with bring many new immigrants to Australia on February 12th 1851.
