  • Responsible for law, order and security
  • Responsible for social development and economic growth.
  • It has joined the regional trade organisations - ECO (Economic Cooperation Organisation) and SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) to increase trade and economic growth.
  • They are trying to remove laws such as a set limit (quota) on the number of female politicians.
