Liberty appealing Investigatory Powers Act 2016 - appealing 2019 court ruling that said it didn’t breach free expression rights.
Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 - gives Home Sec broad powers to deal with protests.
Kill the Bill protests - Liberty took legal action against Met Police

A

Treasury vs Ahmed - 3 people had assets frozen as suspected of being involved in terrorism. SC ruled in their favour in 2010.
2017 SC ruled in favour of John Walker to recieve the pension of his male partner who had died - brought by Liberty using 2010 EqAct.
Simon Dolan challenged the legality of lockdown but lost in 2020.
SC say gov Rwanda policy wrong since Rwanda found unsafe - gov pass Safety of Rwanda Act which declares it as safe.
