Define latitude
Are parallels that run east to west and never intersect. They specify the North and South position of something on the earth
define Longitude
Meridians that are drawn all the way from the North Pole to the South Pole, and separate the earth into east and west territory
What degrees does longitude range between
0 to 180
what degrees does latitude go up to
0 to 90
What is a Focal point?
The center point on the map

where a place is based on other areas around it.
define the Grid
A system of imaginary areas drawn on a grid on the earths surface. Allowing us to pin point certain locations
