- Checklist: list of items that could be checked to see whether they have been addressed in a study.
- Transferability index: when the items in the checklist are scored and weighted, the results can be summarized into a transferability index. (quantitative approach)
- Decision chart: that considers a sequence of elements to which a study has to comply before it is deemed transferable. (qualitative approach)
