What is strength
Amount of force a muscle can exert against a resistance.
What is muscular endurance
Ability to use voluntary muscles many times without getting tired.
What is reaction time
Time between the presentation of a stimulus and the onset of a movement.
What is speed
Rate of which an individual can cover a movement of range of distance.
What is power
Ability to undertake strength performances quickly.
What is flexibility
Range of motion of your joints.
What is coordination
Ability to use two or more body parts together.
What is cardiovascular endurance
Ability to exercise the whole body for long periods of time.
Body composition
Percentage of body that is muscle, fat or bone.
What is balance
Keep the body stable, while at rest of in motion.
What is agility
Ability to control the movement of the whole and change position quickly.
What is reversibility and how can you prevent it
Reversibility is when you stop doing exercises for a while and in turn you lose fitness you can prevent this by doing exercise every other day
What is progressive overload and how can you use it effectively
Proggressive overload is when you gradually increase the load of weight that you lift over time for example:you might lift 50 kg on week one and then begin lifting 52.5 kg on week two
What are individual needs
personal fitness needs based on age, gender, fitness level and the sport for which they are training for.for example a marathon runner will not train the same way as a weightlifter
What is specificity
The particular requirements of an activity.
