How does social skills affect behaviour?
They shape the behaviour as they direct how the child plays with others, how they handle emotions and build positive relationships.
What is a social norm.
Unwritten rules created by society and are expected to be followed.
How can communication skills impact a child behaviour?
They are able to express their emotions and needs and wants. This reduces frustration and they are bale to express what they want.
How can good self regulation and emotion control influence behaviour.
Children who develop emotional regulation skills are able to control impulsive reactions and dealing with frustration.
How can conflict resolution skills control behaviour.
Children are able to control conflicts without frustration and are less likely to harm peers.
Ways SEND can affect behaviour relating to social development?
Hearing problems- can hear peers.
Physical disabilities- group interactions
How home, family circumstance and care history affect behaviour?
Parental expectations- they may have opinions of how their child should behave this may change in setting confusing the child.
Consistency of care- hoe emotionally supported the children are at home.
Culture and community- there may be different expectations in their culture eg. Girls work harder than boys
