Looking, hearing, smelling, touching and maybe even tasting.
What two things can help you see small things up close?
A magnifying glass and a microscope, for really small things that can’t be seen with the naked eye.
When using a microscope, what is the part your observing called?
The specimen

Why does the specimen need to be thin?
So the light from the microscope can shine through it.
