Church schools
Many Christian parents send their children to a church school where they will not only receive a good education, but learn more about the Christian traditions and values their family believes in
Parish Priests
The parish priest is usually a well-known face in the Church school community and works closely helping students prepare themselves for their confirmation - a significant part of Christian children’s upbringing
Youth groups
Some schools and churches work together to provide after-school activities and youth clubs, where young children can enjoy themselves in a safe environment alongside other members of the parish
Sunday school
Children may attend Sunday Schools where young people
can learn about God in a social environment
Churches also hold family services on Sundays and special services at Christmas, Easter and Harvest festival
Many churches will have a time in the weekly service which is targeted at the children, and in which they may participate
