Injection renewed every 8-12 weeks

Morning-after pill
Prevents fertilised egg from implanting in the womb
Emergency form of contraception for a woman who has had unprotected sex or a couple who’s normal method of contraception has failed
Can be taken up to 72 hours after sex
95% effective within 24 hours after sex
The pill
Taken orally every day
Hormones prevent woman’s body from releasing an egg each month

Plastic or latex
