In Aragon there was a feudal monarchy, what did this mean?
Each area ruled in their own way and the monarch had to respect these fueros
At the monarch’s coronation they had to take an oath of loyalty, what did this promise?
The King would respect the liberties and laws of the Cortes
There were separate Cortes for different areas of Aragon, list where the three main ones were
- Aragon
- Catalonia
- Valencia

Every 3 years

The Diputacion

What was the purpose of the viceroys and what were they expected to do?
Rule in place of an absent monarch, expected to respect their wishes
