GENERAL
Either ARTCC, after obtaining approval from the other, may clear an aircraft to______.
operate at an Inappropriate Altitude/Flight Level for Direction of Flight (IAFDOF) as specified in FAA JO 7110.65.

- Before change of an aircraft’s route and/or altitude when the aircraft is less than 15 minutes flying time from the ARTCC boundary.
