The illegal, discriminatory, and unprofitable practice of denying or limiting services and products to low-income and minority communities or the overcharging of financial services and products to these communities
Greenlining
An investing practice recognizing profitable business opportunities in low-income and minority communities and providing quality financial services and products at a fair price that contributes to creating wealth and improving the quality of life for all communities

Community Reinvestmetn Act (CRA)
- The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), enacted by Congress in 1977 (12 U.S.C. 2901) and implemented by Regulations 12 CFR parts 25, 228, 345, and 195, is intended to encourage depository institutions to help meet the credit needs of the communities in which they operate.
