What is the 1st house?
The 1st house is the house of one’s self identity. It’s where the ascendant lies, and its the starting point to the rest of the chart.

What is the 2nd house?
The 2nd house is the house of finances, material possessions, and the idea of value. The 2nd house can tell us how we deal with money, and what struggles we may have when it comes to money.

The 3rd house is the house of relationship with siblings, and close partnerships, communication, and transportation. The 3rd house can tell us how the relationship with the sibling may be, and how we may communicate.

The 4th house is the house of the family, and the mother. The sign that rules this house is our IC, imum coeli. It represents our inner circle, our home life, etc. This house can tell you how your childhood may have been, and how your relationship with the mother may have been.

The 5th house is the house of the child, pleasures, entertainment, and sometimes relationships. This house can tell us what we take pleasure in, and also, when dealing with shadow work, and specifically dealing with the inner child, it’s important to work with the 5th house, and the sign that rules it.

The 6th house is the house of daily routine, the workplace, and health. This house placement can tell us how the working environment will be on a person, how they deal with day to day life, and their daily routines.

The 7th house, similar to the 4th, is a very important house in one’s chart. The 7th house’s sign is opposite the 1st house/the ascendant. The 7th house is the house of romance, marriage, and partners. The qualities a person lacks will appear in this house, and thus, the qualities that they seek. There is a saying that the 7th house sign tells you the sign of your spouse. The 7th house tells us what we are attracted to, and what we seek in relationships.
