Why do so many people go to Las Vegas ?
(100k ppl come to LV) They come for conventions, to see big hotels and go in casinos, + to gamble + room rate is cheap
What is the American vision ?
The bigger, the better , amercians want to show their money their power by building higher and bigger establishments
Why room rate is cheap ?
Its cheap because there are a lot of rooms, (126$ ; 2K room booked everyday) staff want clients to gamble in restaurants n casinos + economy of scale = if u buy or produce in big quantities the price of the unit will be reduced
What are the marketings strategies ?
To have clients spending their money in facilities and activities = money oriented (500 000$ is spended on casinos everyday)
Say things about hotels in LV
Some hotels are like ‘a city in the city’ you can find everything u need and do everything u want (shows, art galleries, attraction parks bars, shops…) Rooms are 90% occupied, no high or low seasons, the hotels are always fully booked
What is the concequence of thoses ‘a city in a city’ hotels ?
It can become oppresive, noisy because of how crowded the place is
