HOSPICE
A type of hospital owned by a for-profit company or a non-profit organization and privately funded through payment for medical services by patients themselves, by insurers, governments through national health insurance programs, or by foreign embassies.
PRIVATE HOSPITAL
Criteria for classification of modern hospitals: A patient stays for a short time in a hospital for treatment of a disease that is acute in nature, such as pneumonia, peptic ulcer, etc.
LENGTH OF STAY
Referring to medical services performed on an outpatient basis, without admission to a hospital or other facility.
AMBULATORY CARE
It includes doctor visits, such as annual physical exams, well-woman appointments, and dental cleanings. Some medicines are preventive, such as immunizations, contraception, and allergy medications. Screenings, such as tests for skin cancer, high cholesterol, and colonoscopies, are examples of what type of care.

It includes any professional support services that allow a person to live safely in their home with a visit and assistance of professional caregivers such as nurses, aides, and therapists who provide short-term or long-term care in the home, depending on a person’s needs

Provide supervision and assistance in activities of daily living with medical and nursing services when required

Criteria for classification of modern hospitals: 1. Public Hospitals. 2. Voluntary Hospitals. 3. Private/Charitable Hospitals/ Nursing Homes and corporate hospital
