Corpus Luteum and Ovulation
What does the FSH stimulate in the female?
Follicle growth and Ovaries
What does the corpus luteum do?
Releases progesterone, estrogen, relaxin and inhibin
What does the FSH do?
Stimulates growth of follicles in ovary
What does the LH do?
Causes follicles to rupture then becomes the corpus luteum
What does prolactin do?
Maintains lactation
What does oxytocin do?
Stimulates muscle contraction of uterus
