• Technology and organizations are intertwined: When thinking of new technology or other innovations, you should always take the characteristics of the organization into account

Several definitions and understandings of what product innovation is.
Some emphasize the ‘newness’ of a product, some the ‘uniqueness’, some the ‘complexity’ (the creation of something new)

Inventions and innovations do not have to be technological.
