A
It’s that riff, or that melody and lyrics that is so catchy that it sticks in people’s minds. To do so, you have to repeat it.

Is it great to have more than one hook in a song?

Of course yes!

What type of melodic mouvement feels more like a hook?
A
Disjoint melodies.
*Maybe try a song where verse use static, pre-chorus uses conjoint and chorus uses disjoint. Just play with those and be creative knowing that they trigger our minds in different ways. *draw the melodic mouvement like mountains.
