Metaphor: a comparison not using like or as

Simile: a comparison using like or as
Juxtaposition
Juxtaposition: an act or instance of placing two opposing elements close together or side by side. This is often done in order to compare/contrast the two, to show similarities or differences

Oxymoron: a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction
