DROSERA
1 for whooping cough
Laryngitis
Bronchitis
Tuberculosis
Tormenting cough, paroxysms (= fits/attacks), they follow
one another quickly – short cough, RINGING cough
Must hold the chest to cough, inability to cough due to
the pain
< evening, after midnight – to 2 am, after drinking,
exertion, singing, smoking. Cough after measles
> WALKING

Spasmodic cough, short coughs, suppocation sensation, sensitive, barking seal cough
Shortcut for croup
Bönninghausen used 3 remedies to cure croup:
Aconitum + Spongia + Hepar sulphuris calcareum
He gave Aconitum, repeated 2 hours later if not better.
Waited another 2-3 hours, if needed gave Spongia. Again
waited and if still not better, he gave a second dose of
Spongia. Hepar was rarely needed!
Followers changed the order to Aconitum-Spongia-Hepar –
Spongia – Hepar… It also works

Fevers – infections – convulsions (from epilepsy, whooping cough, indigestion /
indigestible foods, female issues…)
Vomiting with a sensation as if all the bones in the body were being torn to pieces
COUGHS: violent, spasmodic, suffocating (at 7pm), bring on vomiting (may be no
nausea!), epistaxis, hemoptysis, cyanosis… Can be dry (e.g., tickle in larynx) or loose
(mucus in chest) or whooping cough
Female issues: vomiting before or during menses, or if suppressed (OC), large clots,
miscarriage, labor (pains, false, placenta issues), pregnancy…
GENERALS
Sensitive to cold, winter wind AND warmth, warm wind; dry weatherAND moist wind,
rain…
< WARMTH, damp warmth, warm room; overeating (ice cream, pork, veal, rich foods,
mixed foods, candy, fruit (raisins, berries), salads, lemon peel); heat and cold; vomiting;
motion; lying
> open air; rest, pressure, closing the eyes (warm, wet weather…)
COUGH > cold drinks, rest, but < stepping out in open air or in warm room
Periodicity: every other day or every day at the same time (11am, 7pm…)
Often THIRSTLESS
