He wanted to wipe out races he thought of as inferior

How were the lives of Jews affected by the Nazis and Hitler?
A
- they were regarded as ‘sub-human’
- their shops were marked so everyone could avoid them
- they were forbidden to have relationships with non-Jews

A
- Laws which limited the things that Jews were allowed to do
- They also defined what it meant to be a Jew to show that only German citizens could enjoy full political rights

- Synagogues throughout Germany were either burned or destroyed
- Attacks were carried out on Jews
- Jewish shops and work-places were smashed-up

A
- People who go there don’t go willingly
- Like prison
- Bad treatment
- People can be forced there because they ‘need’ to change something about themselves e.g. religion
