it is the process of self-actualization and learning that combines an individual’s mental, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual growth.
holistic development
Various aspects of holistic development of persons:
- Physiological
- Cognitive
- Psychological
- Social
- Spiritual
: Physical attributes including the five physical senses. Changes may make an adolescent uncomfortable and self-conscious. However, the changes are preparing you to become physically capable of biological reproduction.
Physiological
intellectual functions of the mind: thinking, recognizing, reasoning and analysing, recalling and assessing. The brain continues to develop yet the frontal lobe which enables humans to control sexual and emotional impulses is not fully developed. (i.e. struggle for maturity).
Cognitive
how thinking, feeling and behaving interact and happen in a person. Psychological and cognitive developments generate changes in the way adolescents feel and think about themselves, others and the surroundings.
Psychological
the manner by which an individual interacts with other individuals or groups of individuals i.e. adolescents’ clamour for independence.
Social
the attribute of a person’s consciousness and beliefs, including the values and virtues that guide and put meaning into a person’s life. Many would desire to establish a personal relationship with the Creator. Some begin to question spirituality itself.
Spiritual

interaction and fusion
are impressions activated by a stimulus in your mind that is evident from the environment that you are in.
Thoughts
Thoughts occupies emotions that give life to thoughts and expressed through
feelings.

Behavior
