What is the max IAS:

What is the required turn rate?
Bank angle of 25 degrees or rate 1, whichever requires lesser bank.
How should wind allowance be made?
Allowance should be made in heading and timing to ensure inbound track is regained before passing the holding fix inbound.
What is the timing/distance outbound (up to and including FL140)?
1 minute, or the time/distance limit specified on chart.
When does outbound timing begin?
Abeam the fix or on attaining outbound heading, whichever comes later.
What is the zone of flexibility of either side of sector boundaries?
5 degrees
What is a sector 1 (parallel) entry?
The aircraft is turned onto an outbound heading for the appropriate time/distance, then turned onto the holding side to intercept the inbound track.
What is a sector 2 (offset) entry?
The aircraft is turned to a heading to track 30 degrees from reciprocal of inbound track for the appropriate time/distance, then turned in the direction of the holding pattern to intercept the inbound track.
When may a holding pattern be modified?
A pilot may shorten a holding pattern to leave the holding fix at a specified time.
At a level not limited by obstacles, the length may be increased subject to ATC approval.
Cat C circling area and obstacle clearance?
4.2NM, 400ft
