-8th November 1923 hitler and 600 members of the Nazi party stormed a lark beer hall in munich
-the nazis had 2000 rifles but they were no Mach for the actual armed forces 16 Nazi members died and 4 police officers died
-hitler dissappeared but was arrested 2 days later
-resulted in the Nazi party being banned
