Gradual increase overall temperature of earth’s atmosphere attributed with the greenhouse effect with increased levels of other pollutants.

Disease in which there is a severe loss of the body’s cellular immunity. Resistance to infection and malignancy.\

Stop’s the body’s ability to fight the organisms that cause disease.
Famine
Extreme scarcity of food.
Carbon Dioxide
Colorless, odorless gas produced by burning carbon and organic compounds and by respiration.
Carbon Footprint
Amount of carbon dioxide and other carbon compounds emitted due to the consumption of fossil fuels.
Greenhouse Gasses
A gas that contributes to the greenhouse effect by absorbing infrared radiation.
Fossil Fuels
remains of ancient plants and animals used as fuel. Generate by burning fossil fuels are considered to be one of the principal causes of global warming.
Alternative Fuels
Fuel other than gasoline for powering motor vehicles, natural gas, methanol, or electricity.
