What was the impact of MLK
A
- He was a great spokesman that inspired many people
- He was the leader of the SCLC and did many good things
- He used non violent tactics to make him look good in the eyes of the media and when the white people were violent, it made them look like the bad guys

Who was Rosa Parks
A
She was a women that refused to give her seat up for a white man on a bus and got arrested and was the cause of starting the Montgomery bus boycott

Little Rock Nine
A
- It was a school that was about to become integrated
- 25 students were chosen to come to little rock nine
- white people did not like the idea of this so they threatened families and only 9 students remained willing to go to the school
- They were told not to walk to school
- They got spat on and abused by many of the local people
- Orval Faubus - sent in 1000 ? state troops to keep the peace but it did quite the opposite
- ## President Eisenhower did not like this idea and ordered for him to stop.

A
Everything can be separate but it has to be equal

A
They were tests that were given to black Americans and if they passed they could vote, they made it unnecessarily hard so that they didn’t get the right to vote
