Germany and allies accept responsibility for damage caused by ww1 so Germany has to pay for damage caused to other nations by war.
Reparations
germany has to pay 6.6 billion pounds as reimbursement for war damage to other countries.

Territories lost in Europe and foreign territories lost
Covenant
Germany has to agree to a covenant which it doesn’t get to have ANY say in. If Germany can remain GOOD for a certain amount of time they may be allowed in later on. (League of Nations)
Feelings Germans.
Germans=naturally proud
Reparations towards Germany= humiliating and a head once held down is not able to be held up anymore due to humiliation.
