Viridiana, supposed to be a nun, lives with Uncle Don whose wife died on their wedding night. She puts on her wedding dress and drugs her coffee. He restrains himself but tells her he raped her so she won’t leave him and get married. She leaves but a cop takes her back to see that Don has hung himself. Jorge and Viridiana have the mansion with the servant Romona. Beggers break in and trash the place. Two capture Jorge and Viridina and raper her at knifepoint.

Raimunda and her daughter, Paula, live with Raimunda’s husband, Paco, who Paula believes is her father. When Paco attempts to rape Paula, saying that he is not really her father, Paula stabs him to death in self-defense. Claiming her husband has run off, Raimunda hides his corpse in the deep-freezer. Raimunda and Sole are sisters living in madrid, their parents died ina fire three years ago. Sole discovers her mother is alive and hides her in hair salon. Raimunda reveals to Paula that Paco was not her biological father. Raimunda’s father sexually abused Raimunda, resulting in the birth of Paula. Thus, Paula is Raimunda’s daughter and her sister. Augustina’s mother was sleeping with Raimunda’s father, Irene found out, started the fire that killed them.

The story takes place in Havana, Cuba, in 1979. David meets Diego who is a gay artist. Diego, for his part, initiates the friendship with sexual intentions, but David mostly rejects his advances. Although David initially chafes at the idea of being Diego’s “baby”, he decides to do so to relay information back to Miguel, who is trying to spy on them. David loses his virginity to Nancy. In the days after, Miguel comes to Diego’s apartment, accusing David of being homosexual. Diego eventually decides to leave the country, but is unable to keep it a secret from David. He confesses his love for David and reveals that it was not denying rumors of being in a relationship with David that led to David’s false “outing” as a gay man. Despite this, David embraces Diego with a hug, leaving their future relationship ambiguous.

Salvador starts taking heroin to manage his pain. reconnects with love, Federico stops taking heroine, goes to the doctor and gets surgery.
