Due to its wealth and the ideas of art and architecture. Many scholars fled from constantinople before it’s fall. The printing press meant cheaper books so knowledge about ancient Greece and Rome spread around Italy and Europe.

She was Italian. Daughter of noble family. Apprentice to local master. Studied works of art in Rome. Advised by Michaelangelo.

It was created by Gutenberg. It used moveable metal type. The bible was the first printed book.
