Post op pain in anterior thigh, worse with stairs and getting into car. X-rays and bloodwork are fine. What diagnostic test is indicated?
Local anesthetic injection into ilopsoas tendon sheath. Can be irritated by a protruding cup.
How do you increase tension on abductor mechanism?
Increase femoral offset.
Wear rate of metal no poly per year?
.1 mm per year in unsightly crossed poly, 70% less in highly cross linked poly
What has a higher modulus of elasticity for titanium versus cobalt chrome?
Titanium has lower modulus of elasticity, so is more bendable
