Inflammation of the bursa over the greater trochanter

A
- Gradual onset hip pain (outer aspect of hip)
- Pain may radiate down the leg
- Difficult to find comfortable sleeping position

Conservative:
- RICE
- Physiotherapy
Medical:
- Analgesia (NSAIDs)
