It is a form of worship including a shrine
What is on the puja tray

What does the bell do in the puja
This is the starting point of the worship. If this bell is rung, it lets the deity know it is the start of the puja

They contain the presence of a god/goddess

It’s used to be put on your forehead to mark their devotion
What is the food in the puja
Food such as nuts, fruits, rice and even sweets are offered. This symbolises the love between the deity to the god/ goddess
