What is Dharma, Artha, Kama and moksha?
Dharma - means to act righteously, to act morally and ethically
Artha - is the pursuit of wealth and prosperity
Kama - obtaining enjoyment for life
Moksha - achieve rewards such as liberation from reincarnation or unity with God
What is meditation?
It is a way of training and controlling the mind and one way to worship Brahman
What are forms of Hindu yoga worship called?
Jnana - Hindus give up worldly possessions and want to unite with god
Raja - this is focused on antarlami, which means Brahman within humans
Karma - it is about focusing on doing good things around you
Bhakti - this is about worship and showing god love and devotion
What do Hindus use senses for in worship?
Sight - looking at images of a god/goddess
Sound - listen to passages from the Vedas
Smell - incense is burned as a sign of respect to the god/goddess
Touch - kiss/touch the murti as a sign of respect
Taste - food will be offered to a god/goddess

Three gods that are shiva, Vishnu and Brahman
When do Hindus worship?
They worship strictly 3 times a day

They can at home where they have a shrine where offerings are made and prayers are said

Living a bad life, living life immorally will interfere with moksha ( the ultimate goal of goal of then atman(soul))
What is the result of immorality?
Rebirth from human to animal form only occurs if an atman (soul) has repeatedly failed to learn lessons in human form.
