I: clavicle, acromion, and spine of scapula

M fibres: scapular retraction
I fibres: depress scapula and rotate upward
Latissimus dorsi
O: spinous process T6-12, lumbar vertebrae, sacrum, ilium, ribs 9-12
I: intertubucular groove humerous
A: extends, adducts and medially rotates shoulder
Erector spinae
O: illiac crest, ribs 3-12 and vertebrae
I: ribs, thoracic and cervical vertebrae
A: extends and laterally flexes spine
Quadratus lumborum
O: illiac crest and lumbar fascia
I: rib 12 and transverse process L1-4
A: fixes 12th rib during breathing, flexes spine
