A
The effectiveness of Erythropoiesis and the bone marrow response to anemia. If it is low in an anemic condition this is an indication of a reduced marrow response. Such as aplastic anemia, malignancy, or renal failure

Ferritin is a soluble iron binding storage protein. It is made in Bone marow macrophages

Protoporphyrin and Iron. Defects in Heme synthesis are in ACD, Sideroblastic Anemias, and Iron Deficiency.
