- Congenital abnormalities
- Trauma
- Straining

What are s/s of a hiatal hernia?
A
- Heartburn
- Fullness after eating
- Regurgitation
- Dysphagia (difficulty swallowing)

What is the treatment for hiatal hernia?
A
- Small frequent meals
- Sit up 1 hour after eating
- Elevate HOB
- Surgery
- Teach lifestyle changes and healthy diet
