Q

Hexadecimal

A

To convert denary to hexadecimal, you begin by taking the denary number and dividing it by 16. Using integer division you can get the first number of the 2 digit hex code. Then use modulus to find the remainder of the number when dividing it by 16. This makes up the second digit in the hex code. If either of these numbers are over 9, then use the letters ‘ABCDEF’ to represent 10,11,12,13,14,15 respectively.
