Q

Binary to Denary

A

Write the numbers 128, 64, 32, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1 at the top of the page. If the number is greater than 128 then write a 1 underneath it. You should subtract 128 away from the number. Repeat this process until you either run out of denary or you have completed all 8 bits. If the number is smaller than the checker, then you should place a 0 in its place and move onto the next number in the sequence.
