Cough impulse test

Feel for the hernia
Feel during cough impulse
Reduce the hernia and then see if you can control it whilst coughing
What questions should you answer in a scrotal exam?
Can you get above the swelling?
Can the testis and epididymis be identified separately?
Does the swelling transilluminate?
Is the swelling tender?
