Heredity
The inheritance of a title, office, or right.
Dominant Trait
an inherited characteristic that appears in an offspring if it is contributed from a parent through a dominant allele
Recessive Trait
a trait that is expressed only when phenotype is homologous
Genes
The basic unit of heredity passed from parent to child.
Alleles
the alternative form or versions of a gene
Phenotype
The observable characteristics in an individual resulting from the expression of genes
