Builds yang, restores devastated yang. Warms the fire adn sassists the yang for any problem assoc w/weakness or xu of the HT, SP, or KD yang. Contraindicated in pregnancy or yin xu.

Primary hearb to warm the middle burner, warms the middle, expels cold. Warms the SP and ST d/t cold from excess or xu. Warms LU and xforms phlegm

Rou Gui

Pure Yang. It is strong and warm. It warms the KD and fortifies the yang. Prinicpiple herb for treating upward floating or xu yang. Upper body is warm, lower body is cold and xu. Rou Gui warms the KD, Gui Zhi warms the channels

Warms the middle, disperses cold. Relieves constraint in the LV channel. Warms teh SP and stops diarrhea. Leads fire downward. stops vomiting, esp in cases where there is flank pain
