Bai Hu Tang
Clears heat from the qi level. Shi Gao is the major herb (very cold!)This formula is used to treat high fever w/profuse sweating, aversion to heat, red face, severe thirst, big pulse, irritability (4 bigs)
Qing Ying Tang
Treats high fever that is worse at night Fever that worsens at night means the heat is entering the nutritive level. Also contains 4 herbs that clear heat from the qi level - jin yin hua, lian qiao, huang lian, dan zhu ye
XI Jiao DI Huang Tang
clears heat from the blood level. relieves fire toxicity, cools the blood, nourishes yin, dispels blood stasis, stops bleeding
Huang Lian Jie Du Tang
drains fire and relieves toxicity. Treats sever obstruction of all three burners by fire toxin. Contains huang lian, huang qin and huang bai.
Ma Xing She Gan Tang
Treats fever w/ or w/o sweating, thirst, wheezing, cough, labored breathing and nasal flaring. Treats heat lodged in te LU. Nasal flaring is the identifying sx.
Qing Wei San
Drains ST fire,cools blood, nourishes the yin. Treats toothaches when pain extends into the head. This is heat accumulation in the ST
Yu Nu Jian
Drains heat from the ST and nourishes the yin and treats toothaches, loose teeth and bleeding gums. ST heat w/yin xu d/t vigorous ST fire injuring the KD yin
Compare Qing Wei San and Yu Nu Jian
Qing Wei San cools blood and treats toothaches w/head pain. This is Heat accumulation in the ST

Long Dan XIe Gan Tang
drains xs fire from LV and GB. 3 importatn herbs …long dan cao, huang qin, zhi zi
Bai Tou Weng Tang
treats hot dysentery d/o d/t heat toxin searing the ST and intestines. Bai Tou Weng is main ingredient
Qing Hao Bie Jia Tang
Treats heat smoldering in the yin regions of the body in the later stages of a warm febrile disease. Nourishes yin and vents heat.
