Results of diagnostic tests and screens
Symptoms e.g., ascites, jaundice, varices, encephalopathy - extent and severity
LFTs - most recent ones. Stable or changing
Most recent albumin and INR/Prothrombin levels
Any changes to current medicines or short courses in last 3 months e.g., antibiotics
Renal function
Have alternatives been considered for drug
Is hepatic impairment suspected to be drug induced? Is patient still taking drug
